On Sunday, December 3rd, we will meet at Jonathan's samadhi tomb for a beautiful memorial, marking the one-year anniversary
of his passing from the physical body.
We will sing, scatter rose petals, and connect with Jonathan's essence in a powerful way... before heading over to the Hallcrest Vineyards Winery (across the street) for a love reception and yummy food...

Jonathan D. Rosen, minister, master healer, singer, siddha, spiritual teacher, UCBK co-founder, and inspirational heart of service, left his body (in mahasamadhi) suddenly, after an unexpected heart attack.
He has had a prodigious, ongoing impact on the Sai spiritual community both locally in Santa Cruz, California and worldwide (Europe, India, other parts of the US) for nearly two decades.
Jonathan's loving presence, brilliant mind, heart-melting singing voice, dedication to spiritual service, irrepressible sense of humor, and dynamic advocacy for our veterans and our homeless people has moved the hearts -- and changed the lives -- of many grateful people all around the world.
The outpouring of love for him, on social media, via emails and texts and phone calls, has been overwhelmingly beautiful.
There are no words to express the simultaneous sense of loss and gratitude to such a tireless, helping, compassionate human being.
Jonathan is cherished -- and will be so, forever -- by the UCBK community, his family and friends, colleagues and students.
His contributions and tireless work on behalf of our brothers and sisters experiencing homelessness in Santa Cruz County, through four different service organizations, will continue to bear fruit for years to come.
Thank you, Jonathan!

Jonathan, born on April 23rd, the same day as William Shakespeare's birthday, jogging on the footpath way, merrily, in Stratford-on-Avon, England, Shakespeare's hometown, in 2009....
....and into infinity.
"Jog on, jog on, the foot-path way,
And merrily hent the stile-a:
Your merry heart goes all the day,
Your sad tires in a mile-a!"
- William Shakespeare
